OUR ORIGINS

In 2016, concerned with the growing lack of support for police officers and the black community, and inspired by the hard work of Austin Firefighters, Robert Douglas set in motion a plan to solve the strengthen those who strengthen our communities.  “He loves his county… there is nothing more to it” - Anthony Williams a close friend of Roberts.

Discontent with the paradigm that when a pillar to the community is lost in the line of duty; the lack of a parent at home drastically increases the risks of the child becoming a criminal themselves, Robert set-out to balance the books by attempting to strengthen the families of those who strengthen the communities. Declared in the charter that he would not take any of the Foundation’s money, even to cover his own expenses, Robert wants every dollar to reach the front line.
